i've been using sweeteners ever since i've been on ugh, a diet, and ever since there was a shortage of sugar in our house. my mom stopped buying sugar kasi when she and dad learned that they are both diabetic. so kami lang ata ang bahay na walang asukal. hehehe. she substitutes muscovado sugar at times, but mostly we have equal or splenda.
recently, a new sweetener was launched called "halo". it says it is a good sweetener, because it has no aspartame, which is believed to be bad for the body (carcinogenic? i'm not sure, basta bad!). anyway, i bought one box, even though its a bit more expensive than tropicana slim (nearly 20% more expensive).
i usually have my coffee at the office so i brought 5 packs to last me a week, and look at what i discovered! it has different messages at the back of each pack! so cool! ang babaw ko 'no? but i look forward to my coffee for these everyday messages. dati, nestle has this, i think i blogged about one pa nga at one time. coolio (i'm such a nerd).
