may 7, 2009: emphasis

i was sorting my stack of calling cards one day and stumbled upon my old calling card in PSRC, where i had my first taste of market research. you see, client servicing is part of the job, so you definitely need a calling card. but since i was just a research associate back then, i didn't have one, and i was lucky enough to find a single piece of PSRC calling card with no name on it. yay! all i have to do is print my name and i have one, which i will use for my meeting later that day.


i was so proud of my handiwork that i showed it off to my officemates. so everybody was saying "wow naman! ayan, may calling card ka na!" etcetera etcetera... they were teasing me, and we were fooling around when suddenly, geof, one of my officemates joined in and when he saw the calling card, he said, "wow! naks naman, o dapat i-underline mo pa yung pangalan mo para may emphasis!"... sabay underline ng pangalan ko.


imagine my horror. imagine his face when he learned it was just one copy. imagine him trying to erase it, to no avail (ayan o, kita pa diba?).

hahaha, can't forget that moment! and sobrang natatawa ako pag naaalala ko talaga yung mukha ni geof. :))


flashback 2005. hunny and i went to ai's birthday celebration at san carlos pangasinan. ganda ng house and pool nila but i couldn't forget how scorchingly hot it was there! grabeeeee.
