spent the whole day watching cory aquino's funeral. i was touched by how hundreds of thousands supported her till the end. naiyak ako, kahit kay kris, kahit na nakakaasar pa rin siya minsan. to one of our presidents with the purest of souls, paalam.

flashback 2006. i needed to throw out lots of stuff i keep as memorabilia, but they just gather dust and cockroaches kept invading them. thus, i decided to just take a picture of each, and here's one i find interesting. this testimonial was written by grace, one of my best buds in college. i don't know what it was for but here goes:
"Myra, more oftenly called Myls is indescribable with just a word. Sometimes, it may make you wonder if God has actually given her more than her fair share of talents when He created the world. This songbird can increasingly tell you stories of all sorts and still maintain the prim and proper image. At another time, while you get hysterical about a hyper-difficult math problem, she practically arrives at it in just a simple stroke. Indeed, there are many facets of Myls, and the greatest thing that I can ever remember about her is that she has those humongous ears that are always willing to listen. Funny as it may sound but I think she's like a needle in a haystack, a true friend who's hard to find."
