september 23, 2009: alumni nerds

haha! toni and i paid our alma mater a visit because we needed to consult ms. gen about this big project which we both coined together. we actually thought that this data mining phase was such a cinch, but nooooo. it took up a lot of my executive time. to think we planned it as 4 phases. whew. but thanks ms. gen, dami naming natutunan. :) we still owe you lunch!

september 21, 2009: tuccini

i just bought a new laptop bag from tuccini (powerbooks). it's nice and simple and looks like it can last for a long time. sadly, the laptop bag i bought from chocolate (snugmugs) looks soooo worn out already. to think that it costs 3x as much! tsk tsk. a few years ago kasi, it was hard to look for a hip-looking laptop bag. now, there are lots! i love it! :)

after our in-depth interviews, the team had lunch at astoria. food was just fair, no fair. :( though the price is relatively cheaper than others. still. fair lang. still we made the most out of it. alona and i our raising glamorized sweet banana. hehe.

woohoo! sa wakas! naimbento na rin yung matagal ko nang konsepto! samsung's st550 has an lcd sa front so you can see yourself pag pinipicture-an mo ang sarili mo. bwehehe. i love it! kaso maganda kaya ang quality? hmm... not really sure kasi about samsung digicams. forever sony pa naman ako. :P sana they come up with their own. anyway, if anyone tried it na, give me naman some feedback. :) btw, astig yung commercial. view it here.

it was a fun night, lahat ng problema, parang hindi problema. puro tawanan lang. at masaya ako at nakainom ako 'coz i brought my own margarita mix (not a fan of beer). pati si kuya alan and the girls, nagustuhan. hihi. :)

september 6, 2009: madaling araw

ang maganda sa pagtira malapit sa ortigas ay, pag nagutom ka, marami kang puwedeng puntahan. so this one time, nagutom si hun, we went to metrowalk and had our midnight snack at carlo's pizza. second time ko na dito (last one was in july, i blogged about it). but this second time, i know will be my last time. di masarap e. hindi mo na ito babalik-balikan. isa ito sa mga inorder namin, mozzarella sticks. i don't recall how it tastes, so it has got to be forgettable. :P

september 5, 2009: lose it!

lose it! is an iphone application i became obsessed about! it's actually just a calorie counter which computes your everyday calorie intake. it actually helps you set a daily calorie target intake so you will reach your desired weight at a specific date. in my case, i was targeting to lose 12 pounds by october 16, yassy and frankey's wedding with a limit of around 600 calories per day only. ugh. didn't quite hit that mark. with hun's birthday in september and when ondoy hit, my brothers stayed with us. feast everyday, i tell you. but still, this is a pretty neat weight loss tool. i lost 5 pounds, not bad.

september 3, 2009: mario badescu

siguro may pimple ako when i took this (sa sobrang tagal, i forgot na). anyway, i bought this mario badescu drying lotion because the magazines say celebrities swear by it. naniwala naman ako, kasi ang mahal, P1,000++ for that small bottle. siguro naman effective diba. anyway, parang wala lang. if you have a large zit, konti lang ang iddry niya the next day. pero naglalagay pa rin ako pag meron akong pimple kasi baka impatient lang ako. and nilalagyan ko si emman at mga kapatid ko pag meron sila. it's funny kasi you will have pink spots on your face afterwards, hehe.
