august 25, 2009: pond's sale

finally bought pond's overnight cream because it was 50% off! patok talaga 'tong pond's beauty sale. i would have never bought this if it weren't for the sale, hehe. :) i like this cream because it's not sticky and it has a matte finish. i should've hoarded! but my kuripot self won't let me. :))

august 24, 2009: cooking mama

another iphone app which hun and i go gaga about, cooking mama! we were actually first addicted to cooking quest, but it was such a short game that we finished it in a snap. cooking mama is great, except that, i don't know how to stir soup. haha, i know, the previous statement is weird. :)) if anyone knows how to, teach me!

so addicted to boys over flowers! because of my addiction, i just let hun go to p4 without me for his weekly basketball game. i just watched the series on my zen vision w in the confines of our room. super addicting! i love ji hoo! hay, i finished it in a few days. my csi miami marathon was put on hold. wawa naman si emman, di ko napansin for a few days. :(

august 21, 2009: up!

yay! watched "up" with hunny at robinsons movieworld 3d. the movie was really good, nakakaiyak sa simula. i looove dug! he's my favorite character. hun and i both watch his clips at youtube whenever we can (especially the porch scene). now we want a golden retriever!

watching movie on 3d is just okay. i think it did not make any difference. i think watching movies on 3d is suitable for movies which were created just for 3d viewing. i am thankful that we just found it okay because if we were elated and it becomes an addiction, movie watching would be very expensive, hehe.

noooooooo! effective the following day (august 19), pasig will also be implementing the number coding scheme! waaah!!! well, at least hindi pa rin ako affected much 'coz our building is just across the street from our village, hehe. but still! hindi ko kasi naaalala ito e, pag pumalya ang memory, lagot! but i appreciate the longer window time. :)

august 17, 2009: sick

was sick this day so i just took a picture of my pillow. just went to medical city for a check-up then off to bed again. when i'm awake, i recall i was still playing sally's spa in bed. :))

flashback 2008. hunny and dadad playing around with ej's wrestling belts. hahaha! if i recall it correctly, this was the time where we visited our prospective ninangs: ninang cora, where we met sheila and karla, and ninang nelda, where we met little chloe. :) this was also the day when the highlander broke down near binakayan. waah! it's not my fault naman daw according to dadad. the starter was busted already. whew.

august 16, 2009: sally's spa

i've been so addicted to this game, that as i am blogging about this, it makes me want to go to our room and just play this on my iphone. :)) it's a strategy game, much like diner dash. i think though that this is better. :D i don't know if this can be played online. search for it, aliw talaga. :) pero mas aliw siguro sa iphone kasi madali ang controls.

i (think) this is the first time i tried cinnabon. it was okay. i find this too sweet for my taste. makes me want to drink a gallon of ice cold water afterwards. might not try it again. i still find cinnzeo better. meron pa bang cinnzeo anywhere? i miss their choco rolls! :(

my friend berna is working in jakarta, and whenever there is a chance, she always sends me this nasi goreng mix. it is very yummy! unfortunately, i couldn't find this one in sm. :( so nagho-hoard talaga ako nito. :) jumie went to indonesia for a project, so berna sent me these. grabe, ang dami ko na! :)

august 12, 2009: season 2

yay! it's the second season of project runway philippines! so excited about this show (i'm actually waiting for it to air right now). i initially thought that it would suck, much like most of the shows we imitate. but it is very entertaining for me. it's hosted by teresa herrera, mentor is jojie lloren, and resident judges are rajo laurel, and apples aberin-(sahdwani). ei, am i the only one who noticed that apples dropped "sahdwani" when they were taping the show?

anyway, watch it every wednesdays at 10pm on etc! :D

flashback 2006. our first ever poker night! this took place on the day our house at s. rizal was blessed. since the house was quite big, with a front yard to accommodate parties, we decided to hold the game there. well, we actually like hosting, and so therefore. hehe. :) see previous entry in my friendster blog, about my "burn buddies".

not as moist as max's but similar in taste. if this were as moist, then this would be a winner. however, it's a bit dry for my taste. but its cheap lang, gawang bulacan i think. hay, wala akong makuhanan that day? boredom.

ohmyfreakingoodness! i love zac efron! well, in his movie "17 again". super crush ko siya dun!!! hunny and i were actually delaying watching this movie because we thought it would be total crap. but no, it was so funny and i loved zac! hehe. :)

august 9, 2009: white beans

apart from mom's chili con carne, "white beans" is the next favorite dish. or i think they're the same in rank. these bean dishes are the manialong family's main staples whenever there's a special occasion. all dishes would go to waste once either of these is served.

it was my first time to cook white beans, i guess it turned out okay. it was pretty easy, just like chili con carne, except in this dish, you use chicken and add cabbage. yummy! sorry, it doesn't look that appetizing on screen, tamad to get the digicam. :)

august 8, 2008: csi miami

got hooked watching csi miami on axn early august kaya hun bought me the 7 season dibidi. i really enjoy watching this show, kahit na "oa" si horatio caine sa simula. but he sorta grows on you, and i find his way of speaking quite funny actually. hunny and i always wait for his one-liner at the start of each episode and scream right after (yaaaaahhhh!). :D

this csi for me has got the most "heart". pinaka-F kasi the characters are all quite involved with the victim. take for example alexx, the pathologist, who almost always speaks to the corpse in a loving, motherly way. weird 'no? but i like it. of course, i really like calleigh duquesne. she's astig and i find her quite funny too.

i'm still on season 2 so no spoilers please. :)

happy birthday to judie, "the life of the party" as we fondly call her... well, because she's the most silent in our barkada. but during her birthday party, she truly was the life of the party. you can really see that she's enjoying herself.

one of my friends joanna, was confused about a previous blog entry because i was talking about a certain "niqui". well, friends, let me introduce you to our first ever car, niqui! :)

sorry, madilim kasi sa parking lot, so poorness ang shot. :P niqui is a 2009 toyota vios E in azure blue. don't ask me na about more specs okay, you can visit the toyota website for that. hehehe. hun and i got her last march 25. :) dami kong gifts nung march! singapore trip, sony ericsson c902, sony vaio cs23, and niqui! love it! my 30th birthday was really something! :))

spent the whole day watching cory aquino's funeral. i was touched by how hundreds of thousands supported her till the end. naiyak ako, kahit kay kris, kahit na nakakaasar pa rin siya minsan. to one of our presidents with the purest of souls, paalam.

flashback 2006. i needed to throw out lots of stuff i keep as memorabilia, but they just gather dust and cockroaches kept invading them. thus, i decided to just take a picture of each, and here's one i find interesting. this testimonial was written by grace, one of my best buds in college. i don't know what it was for but here goes:

august 2, 2009: holy family parish

it was our first time to visit our parish, ever since we moved to our new home. normally, we would hear mass in project 4 where hunny and i got married or the church at megamall, but it became too tiring after a while. so we decided to visit the holy family parish.

the parish is quite small, unlike olmmp, but it has a quite homey feel to it. parang gusto ko dito na magsimba parati. at nainggit ako sa choir nila, gusto ko sumali. :( namimiss ko na kumanta at i-hit ang mga high notes ever. :( sadness.
